With a schedule consisting of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, our physical therapists have the opportunity to balance their commitment to work with personal life, promoting a holistic approach to professional fulfillment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Redeemer, your primary responsibilities will include:Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate their specific needs and goals.Implementing and adapting evidence-based treatments for a diverse range of conditions, ensuring that each session is tailored to the patient's progress and response to care.Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers about therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications designed to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to meet regulatory standards and support clinical decision-making.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, ensuring an integrated approach to rehabilitation strategies.Meeting utilization goals as set by the organization, while continually striving to improve patient satisfaction and treatment effectiveness.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient population includes a wide array of specialties, such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults engaged in rehabilitation after surgeries or falls. The diversity in our caseload allows for continuous learning and growth as a clinician.QualificationsTo qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.A valid physical therapist license in the state of New Jersey.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.A deep-seated desire to build strong relationships with patients and contribute positively to their recovery journeys.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in a variety of practice settings, particularly those who have engaged in evidence-based treatment protocols or specialty certifications in fields such as pediatrics or orthopedics.
