Work Environment

As a physical therapist in our facility, you will work primarily onsite, ensuring you have immediate access to resources and support from colleagues. Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a work-life balance that promotes both professional fulfillment and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload, seeing up to three patients per hour, where you will assess and treat patients experiencing various orthopedic conditions.
• Design individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Implement diverse therapy techniques, including manual therapy, functional exercises, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate routinely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, to ensure cohesive care.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in our electronic medical record system, CureMD, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients, particularly those aged 40 to 65, who require rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will engage with diverse cases including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management, helping them regain functional mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in NJ.
• Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on assessment and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey treatment progress and engage patients in their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, though candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience working with the patient demographic of 40-65 years old.
• Familiarity with CureMD EMR system is advantageous but not essential, as we provide training.

Compensation and Benefits
