Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive one-on-one sessions via telehealth, providing therapeutic guidance tailored to the needs of each client.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring each plan reflects the client's unique circumstances and goals.

• Engage with clients and their families at the outset of therapy to orient them to the treatment process and establish rapport.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, including writing detailed progress notes that capture treatment objectives and outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow team members to discuss patient cases and develop strategies for effective crisis management, reporting any observed changes in patient behavior.

• Advocate for necessary resources and services that enhance patient care, striving continuously to improve client outcomes.

• Utilize knowledge of the DSM-5 for diagnoses and treatment planning, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrate strong time management skills by effectively prioritizing tasks and managing workloads in an organized manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving a broad spectrum of clients, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. As a counselor, you will be sensitive to the needs of diverse populations, fostering an inclusive environment that recognizes and respects cultural differences and personal histories.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic methodologies.

• Experience in providing marriage and family therapy services with a commitment to serving a wide range of demographic groups.

• Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
