Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patients’ psychological needs and establish personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Organize and lead psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health issues, fostering a community of understanding and encouragement among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate assistance to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and resources within the community to enhance their support systems.

• Ensure compliant and accurate documentation of all client interactions and care plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMHC at our center, you'll work with a diverse client population experiencing varying mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
