Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand clients' emotional and psychological states, and develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Golden Dove Psychological and Counseling Center caters to a widely varied demographic of clients, including individuals grappling with severe mental illness, those dealing with substance abuse issues, as well as individuals encountering life stressors and crises. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients within the county jail system, addressing urgent mental health needs and ensuring they receive the care necessary for rehabilitation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is mandatory (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
