In this remote role, you will play a critical part in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges, particularly those dealing with mood disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. You will operate within standard business hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a work-life balance conducive to both productivity and rest.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring each patient's unique needs are understood.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and circumstances.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their journey toward mental well-being.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, including treatment options and self-care strategies to empower them outside of sessions.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans where necessary to ensure optimal care.
\n
• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and integration of care.
\n
• Stay informed with the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and share knowledge with peers.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and destigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your insights and therapeutic skills will directly contribute to improving their mental health, enriching their quality of life, and enabling them to cope with their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT to practice in Washington state.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies specific to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare staff.
\n
• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes when treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, especially working with diverse populations struggling with mood disorders.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to facilitate document management efficiently.

• Previous involvement in advocacy or community outreach initiatives related to mental health education.

Compensation and Benefits\n
