Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, exploring treatment options and promoting self-care practices to enhance overall wellbeing.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to provide the most effective care.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic treatment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your clients may include diverse populations such as refugees, victims of domestic abuse, and homeless individuals, all of whom face unique challenges in their mental health journeys. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
