The Mental Health Team is made up of skilled professionals specializing in various therapeutic modalities and approaches, allowing for a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Regular virtual meetings will ensure continuous support and knowledge sharing among peers.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients’ specific needs, challenges, and strengths.

• Devise and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues and emotional well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to provide quality support for clients dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on personal growth, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure a holistic care approach for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions while providing resources to promote understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards required in mental health practice.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery and team cohesion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including those facing challenges related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent professional credentials.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of mental health disorders and the principles of effective treatment and support.
\n
• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans based on the clients’ needs.
\n
• Excellent communication skills that promote rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• Comfortable using technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a community health setting or with special populations. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices, crisis intervention strategies, and a familiarity with applicable mental health laws and regulations will be key in succeeding in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
