Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patient backgrounds, presenting issues, and treatment goals, crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients through various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and others, depending on client needs and preferences.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at fostering a greater sense of community among clients dealing with similar mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, coordinating treatment plans and sharing insights to improve patient outcomes.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in distress.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatments, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case discussions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to collective knowledge.

• Stay updated with the latest research in mental health therapy to inform treatment practices and improve the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of common mental health disorders and treatment modalities, along with proven skills in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and scheduling purposes.

• A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team of healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a community mental health setting or outpatient practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
