Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist working with Constant Physical Therapy, you will primarily perform your duties in the home care setting. This allows you to work closely with patients in their own homes, a setting that often leads to improved comfort and outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their homes, assessing their needs based on injuries, diseases, or post-operative conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using diverse therapeutic methods to alleviate pain and improve mobility, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking responses to treatments and making necessary adjustments to therapeutic goals and plans over time.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, the use of assistive devices, and self-management strategies to foster a better understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Stay current with best practices by attending workshops, participating in professional development opportunities, and networking with colleagues within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children and older adults, addressing conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries and neurological disorders to post-surgical rehabilitation. This role requires a strong focus on building rapport with patients, creating a trusting relationship that encourages participation in their own healing process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and basic office software.
• A patient-centered approach and a commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates with any hands-on clinical experience, internships, or volunteer work in a therapy setting will find their skills highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
