Young Harmony Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health counseling to clients via telehealth, assisting them through various challenges and facilitating their journey towards mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs, developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation regarding treatment plans, progress notes, and other pertinent client-related information in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and facilitate client groups, fostering a collaborative environment where individuals can share experiences and support each other.
• Engage in case conferences and staff meetings to ensure coordinated care and share insights regarding treatment efficacy and client progress.
• Provide psychoeducation on perinatal mental health and connect clients with community resources for additional support.
• Assist in psychosocial assessments and the implementation of treatment plans while under clinical supervision.
• Advocate for clients, establishing connections with local resources and community agencies to help address their broader social service needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, participating in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards relevant to the role, adhering to the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges. This may include diverse populations such as those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health issues. By employing a client-centered approach, you will play a pivotal role in promoting healing, personal growth, and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Proven ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team effectively within an outpatient mental health agency.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively while being an attentive listener.
• A history free of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party confirmation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote telehealth setting is highly advantageous.
• Previous work in community mental health organizations or similar environments is favorable.
• Familiarity with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH compliance standards.

Compensation and Benefits
