As a member of our remote team, you will create a comfortable and engaging therapeutic environment from your home office. We prioritize work-life balance, enabling you to work during regular business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, establishing a clear understanding of their experiences and needs.

• Collaboratively design and implement personalized treatment plans, setting achievable goals that reflect individual client aspirations and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions.

• Educate both clients and their families about mood disorders, offering insights into treatment options and self-care strategies that empower clients to take control of their mental health.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes and address any emerging challenges.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mood disorder treatment through research and ongoing education, ensuring best practices are utilized.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy and uphold professional integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals encountering various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will work collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds, taking into account their unique cultural perspectives and personal experiences to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC or LMFT in New York is required.
\n
• Expertise in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT, is critical to this role.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals is highly valued.

• Demonstrated ability to produce successful treatment outcomes, showcasing a commitment to improving clients’ mental health.

• Exceptional communication skills that enable the establishment of trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role with a focus on treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 52,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
