Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations to assess clients' emotional and behavioral health.

• Develop personalized treatment and intervention plans that cater to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster improvement.

• Monitor and document clients' progress within the treatment plan, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs.

• Proactively collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create a cohesive treatment approach.

• Provide continuous support to families and caregivers, helping them understand and manage the complexities of mental health challenges.

• Maintain accurate documentation through our electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois is required.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in managing Electronic Health Record systems, such as AVATAR.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective therapy and documentation.

• Deep understanding of mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and the effects of psychiatric medications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in a telehealth setting.

• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions.

• Familiarity with the standards and best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exemplary interpersonal skills, with a natural capacity for empathy and client rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year.
