Position Overview

Mega Motion Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our full-time team in Highland Park, New Jersey. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by healthcare providers, utilizing evidence-based assessments to determine their treatment needs.
• Design individualized treatment plans that reflect clinical findings and align with physician recommendations, ensuring a personalized approach to recovery.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with knowledge and tools to engage in their recovery process.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that rehabilitation goals are met effectively.
• Develop strong relationships with patients and foster a therapeutic environment that encourages open communication and trust.
• Participate as a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will serve a diverse patient population ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients rehabilitating after joint surgeries. You will be tasked with developing specialized treatment interventions focusing on conditions such as fractures, tendon injuries, joint pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. Understanding each patient's unique backgrounds, goals, and limitations will be critical to providing effective care and achieving successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable, with at least two years in a clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and documentation systems.
• Ability to establish rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and a genuine concern for their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is an advantage.
• Knowledge of current best practices and advancements in physical therapy techniques and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead group therapy sessions or workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
