Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to formulate mental health diagnoses utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) criteria.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practice guidelines, tailoring therapeutic approaches to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to individuals, families, groups, and community organizations, effectively integrating CBT strategies across various settings.

• Manage crisis situations by promptly assessing client needs, delivering immediate care, and coordinating with appropriate service providers when necessary.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including behavior modification and brief therapy techniques, to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Offer clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to protocols and the highest standard of care.

• Collaborate on cross-system treatment plans with community professionals, fostering holistic care for clients.
\n
• Deliver training sessions and educational workshops on clinical topics to staff and community members as needed.
\n
• Conduct detailed intake sessions, performing Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to identify and address initial client treatment needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An active and independent license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice in the state of Oregon.

• Proficiency in managing a diverse caseload while effectively collaborating with large healthcare providers and support staff members.

• Competent in utilizing electronic medical records and proficient in Windows-based applications to ensure accurate documentation and communication.

• In-depth knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, enhancing the scope of treatment provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Freedom and Wellness Counseling, Inc. offers an attractive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
