Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to provide effective counseling to individuals, families, and small groups, adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated and holistic approach to client care, particularly for those with complex needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, employing swift and appropriate interventions to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.

• Engage in community outreach efforts, including workshops and seminars, to raise mental health awareness and reduce stigma in the local community. This may involve collaborating with schools, organizations, and health fairs.

Our counseling center serves a wide array of individuals, including adults, adolescents, and families from various cultural, socioeconomic, and psychological backgrounds. We address a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is necessary for this position.
