Executive Sous Chef
The Sterling Choice
Great food at scale is an operations job as much as a cooking job. I'm recruiting an Executive Sous Chef in Brisbane, CA, paying $70,000-$105k, for a business where quality, timing and consistency all matter every day. You'll support the Executive Chef, lead a sizeable culinary team and take ownership across production, food safety, labor, inventory, suppliers, budgets and menu launches. This will suit somebody who can move comfortably between the pass, a production plan, a tasting and a cost conversation. I'm interested in chefs with: Five-plus years in high-volume food production Strong leadership across multiple kitchen functions Excellent HACCP and food-safety knowledge Evidence of improving SOPs, productivity and cost control International-cuisine knowledge and strong presentation standards Luxury or Michelin experience is useful when it comes with genuine scale, systems and team leadership.
