Key Responsibilities\n

• Plan and implement personalized support strategies based on individual assessments, helping students manage emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with students and their families to evaluate their current conditions, needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

• Develop tailored, measurable objectives for each student and monitor their progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to provide support, promote resilience, and instill coping skills in students.

• Maintain detailed and accurate case records to track progress and provide sufficient documentation for case reviews and updates.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.

• Actively participate in case conferences, providing insights and evidence where necessary to support students in need.

• Refer clients to community resources and services, thereby enhancing their opportunities for recovery and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on supporting a diverse student population within the school system. You will engage with students from various backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, and behavioral challenges. Your work will also involve liaising with families to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's situation and support system.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field—preferably holding a Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Compensation and Benefits\n
