Work Environment\n

The work setting is predominantly remote, which fosters flexibility and work-life balance. Our outpatient office in Weatherford acts as a supportive hub for collaboration with colleagues. We operate from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, enabling counselors to work within flexible scheduling that accommodates personal commitments. Our supportive administrative team handles client scheduling and provides excellent client service, allowing counselors to concentrate on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, gathering detailed patient histories to evaluate trauma experiences and identify suitable treatment interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and general mental health enhancement.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma and empower patients in their healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on trauma processing, coping strategy development, and promoting overall mental wellness.
\n
• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to create integrated care plans that support holistic client needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience strategies, and available resources to aid in their ongoing recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on strengthening trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic efficacy and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes individuals experiencing trauma-related mental health issues, as well as those seeking emotional support and coping mechanisms for challenges stemming from diverse life experiences. Counselors will work with clients from various backgrounds, addressing their unique situations and tailoring treatment plans that foster resilience and long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach with clients.

• Adept at maintaining composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant clinical software applications.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with behavioral health generalists and couples therapy is a plus; training will be provided as needed.

• Self-motivated with a commitment to completing clinical documentation within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n
