We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, with a focus on inclusivity and culturally competent care, to become part of our dynamic team at Rise and Recover Psychotherapy Center. Work Environment\n

In this remote setting, you will have the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, enabling you to understand individual patient experiences and create tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address the mental health concerns of patients.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care that meets the multifaceted needs of our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed to support patients encountering mental health emergencies, applying your crisis management skills effectively.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and relevant community resources, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Actively engage in team meetings, contributing to case discussions, training sessions, and clinical peer reviews for continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse group of patients, including those from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those experiencing the challenges associated with immigration. This diversity enriches our practice and enhances your ability to impact patient outcomes positively through culturally tailored therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and various treatment modalities, demonstrating a commitment to culturally competent care.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy, with a focus on inclusive methods.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and an ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with diverse populations.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and other digital tools commonly used in mental health care.

• A commitment to ethical practice and the maintenance of confidentiality in all patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in community health settings or outpatient clinics is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n
