Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs, mental health history, and treatment goals.

• Creating individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Facilitating therapy sessions through various modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Responding effectively to crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and offering immediate support.

• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultations to enhance professional development and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals facing low-acuity mental health issues, such as anxiety, mild depression, and stress management challenges. This role requires a compassionate approach, focusing on building rapport and trust with clients, often working with those who may be hesitant to seek traditional mental health services. You will play a crucial role in normalizing mental health care and improving access for marginalized populations.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related discipline.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain rapport with a diverse clientele.

• A proven commitment to client-centered care and a thoughtful, reflective practice.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, enabling effective case management and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
