Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while remaining connected to a robust outpatient team in Spokane, Washington. Utilizing a variety of communication methods—including video conferencing and teletherapy—our counselors remain in close contact with clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans that respect each client’s unique background and needs.

• Perform ongoing evaluations and adjustments to individual treatment plans based on the integration of bio-psychosocial data collected from clients, families, and referral sources.

• Demonstrate clinical competencies in accordance with current best practices and ethical standards related to mental health and chemical dependency.

• Utilize knowledge of various drug treatment modalities and resources to inform your therapeutic approach while ensuring clients are aware of available supports.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support the treatment process for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and professional norms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on those affected by chemical dependency and their families. You will be responsible for understanding the complexities of addiction and equipping clients with the coping strategies needed for recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Currently hold a valid Washington State license (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT) to practice as a mental health counselor.
