Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Perform thorough assessments for new clients, including intake interviews, clinical evaluations, and risk assessments, to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurse practitioners, to coordinate integrated care and referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards in counseling.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that promote mental health awareness and skills development within the community.

• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education by attending workshops, webinars, and peer supervision meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your ability to connect with and support clients from different backgrounds will be crucial in fostering an environment of trust and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.

• An active LPCC license in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a community health or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
