Work Environment\n

This role allows for a flexible telehealth setting, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. Our organization champions a collaborative virtual workspace, promoting active communication and teamwork among our professionals. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, allowing for the identification of appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Assist patients in processing their trauma experiences, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to enhance coordinated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and contribute to our ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to keep our methodologies at the forefront of clinical effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma and associated disorders, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in their recovery, applying empathy and understanding to promote healing and interpersonal growth. Your work will not only aid in trauma recovery but also empower patients to build resilience and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Maryland as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health practice.

• Sound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress environments.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications pertinent to mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
