Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools and interviews to determine patients' needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families, integrating therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused strategies.

• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of trust and support to facilitate patient engagement.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to promote mental wellness, encouraging patients to share experiences and build community.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care strategies for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, guiding individuals through emergency situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions and available treatment pathways, helping them navigate the complexities of care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Core Life Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various mental health issues, which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, and your approach will help foster resilience and coping strategies tailored to each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LCSW-R), or equivalent is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans based on patient needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
