Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through video chat, fostering a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Encouraging open dialogue about emotions, experiences, and concerns during scheduled sessions to facilitate client growth.

• Assisting clients in setting and achieving their therapeutic goals, while tailoring treatment plans to meet their unique needs.

• Offering guidance on healthy coping mechanisms and life skills aimed at improving overall mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of adults seeking emotional support, many of whom are stable individuals with low acuity levels. Our proactive screening process ensures that all clients are prepared and committed to their therapy journey, fostering a productive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Licensing: Candidates must possess a valid, full license to practice independently in California as a:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
\n
• No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted.
\n
• Strong communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Proficiency in technology and digital tools is necessary to operate our therapy platform effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience working in a virtual counseling capacity or familiarity with teletherapy platforms is advantageous. Candidates who have worked with diverse populations and understand various cultural backgrounds will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Serenity Behavioral and Wellness Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000. Additionally, we provide:
