The remote nature of this position enables our counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while utilizing modern technology to connect with clients. Our primary platform for communication and therapy sessions is Simple Practice, which ensures secure messaging and video conferencing capabilities. Counselors will have the support of our administrative team, allowing them to focus primarily on client care and therapeutic practices without the hassle of billing or insurance paperwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a range of responsibilities including:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to determine the specific needs of clients.

• Creating individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and strategies.
\n
• Providing psychotherapy to diverse client populations, addressing a variety of mental health issues.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We serve a diverse clientele, including teenagers, adults, and couples grappling with various mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, relational issues, and trauma, among others. The ideal candidate will exhibit empathy and the ability to navigate sensitive topics while fostering a non-judgmental environment that encourages client participation in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

• A valid license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in mental health counseling, specifically in a clinical setting.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong treatment planning and counseling skills, particularly with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and collaborate with the team.

• Familiarity with conducting virtual appointments and comfort with various digital platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
