Work Environment\n

This position operates exclusively through a telehealth framework, allowing therapists to offer effective support from the comfort of their own environments. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their specific needs and recovery goals.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on the individual assessments and employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore their challenges and recovery pathways.

• Lead group therapy sessions to foster peer support and shared learning among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, ensuring holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Incorporate crisis intervention strategies to support patients in times of acute need related to substance use.

• Educate both patients and their families about the nature of addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support network.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of each session, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, familiar with evidence-based treatment methodologies and principles of recovery-oriented care.

• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that convey empathy and support effectively.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and comfort with utilizing technology in a clinical setting.

• A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards to ensure patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the importance of this position and the experience of the candidate.
