Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ individual trauma histories and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and trauma recovery strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process trauma, develop coping skills, and improve overall mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available.
\n
• Educate clients and families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with professional and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve treatment standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals impacted by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma's psychological effects and the ability to create a safe therapeutic space for clients to explore their experiences and initiate healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a strong background in trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• Expert knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a focus on fostering resilience among clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations, responding effectively to client needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
