Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific challenges, goals, and preferences while adhering to therapeutic best practices.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective and supportive therapy.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and healthy coping strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, utilizing feedback and assessments to make timely adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients struggling with mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each presenting unique circumstances that necessitate a personalized approach to treatment. Understanding the varied manifestations of mood disorders in different populations is crucial for achieving positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent in the state of New York.

• Two years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders preferred.
