Work Environment\n

This position offers a predominantly remote work setting, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, addressing their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies through comprehensive discussions and therapeutic sessions.

• Monitor and track client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective and responsive care.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrative care, ensuring that clients receive holistic and comprehensive treatment.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements in mood disorder research and treatment methods to continually enhance clinical practice.

• Ensure accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to elevate clinical skills and contribute to best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and championing their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
