Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive movement evaluations to assess patients' conditions and establish baseline metrics for treatment.

• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and techniques in response to patient feedback and outcomes.
• Provide education and training on exercises, home therapy techniques, and injury prevention strategies to ensure long-term mobility and health.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously in accordance with regulatory and organizational policies.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your personalized care will help these individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence, ultimately facilitating their return to daily activities. In addition to physical rehabilitation, patient education is crucial, as you will empower clients through knowledge that fosters independence and preventative care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Active California PT license, or eligibility to obtain one, is required.
• Excellent clinical skills coupled with strong problem-solving abilities to effectively adapt treatments based on patient progress.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for the position ranges from USD 100,000 to 140,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
