Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Empower Soul Therapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of young children to identify developmental needs and create personalized treatment strategies.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they reflect the unique priorities and concerns of families.

• Monitoring and documenting progress, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create a consistent support system.

• Providing essential emotional and practical support to families, empowering them with information and skills to enhance their child’s development.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices in a coaching model to foster natural learning environments for children and their families.

• Ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will be children between the ages of infancy to three years who may be experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with families to cultivate their skills and abilities, guiding them through personalized interventions that promote their children's growth across physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication areas. By facilitating access to federal and state resources, you ensure that families receive holistic support tailored to their specific situation.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in a relevant field.

• Current licensure by the Connecticut Department of Public Health as an LCSW.

• A valid driver's license to facilitate occasional in-community family visits.

• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills, with a strong capacity to adapt approaches based on individual learning styles.

Preferred Experience\n
