This position is primarily remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your workload from home while maintaining access to a collegial, supportive workspace. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children and families to determine individual needs and devise appropriate intervention strategies.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with best practices and client family goals.

• Monitor progress and outcomes for children under your care, providing timely feedback and adjustments to care plans as necessary.

• Serve as a supportive resource for families, empowering them with tools and knowledge to facilitate their child's development in natural learning environments.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies, to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to recommend strategies tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in social work and early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will focus on providing high-quality care to children, particularly babies and toddlers who experience disabilities or developmental delays. Your expertise will guide families through the complexities of early intervention, enabling them to support their child's growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during critical developmental years.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) recognized by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate travel as needed for home visits and community support roles.

• One year of relevant experience, particularly with children in early intervention settings, is essential.
