Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to ascertain children’s developmental needs.
\n
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to provide tailored support to children and their families.
\n
• Monitoring and tracking developmental outcomes as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective intervention.
\n
• Providing targeted support and resources to families in a manner that promotes healthy childhood development.
\n
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations to uphold the highest standards of practice.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Principles to foster learning opportunities that resonate with each child’s unique situation.
\n
• Building and nurturing durable relationships with children and their families to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
\n
• Collaborating with other team members to design and adjust service delivery based on child progress and family feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children, especially infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Our team works together to ensure that every child has tailored opportunities to learn critical skills in areas such as cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development. You will engage with families, empowering them to enhance their child's growth and development through personalized strategies and support.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.
\n
• At least one year of practical experience working with children in early intervention settings.
\n
• A valid driver’s license for potential travel to client locations.
\n
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple client needs.

• Strong communication skills to foster collaboration with families and team members.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the above qualifications, experience applying various learning styles to address the individual needs of children and their families, as well as familiarity with early childhood development theories and practices, will be beneficial for success in this role. Previous work in multi-disciplinary teams and familiarity with coaching models in educational settings will also enhance your contributions to our team.
