Senior Product Manager (Sales Pipeline & UX)

Job Description

FTS, in collaboration with a cutting-edge client, is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Product Manager to join its in-house team. This candidate will have strong experience building user-facing SaaS products to lead the continued development of our prospecting and sales pipeline experience. This role will focus on deeply understanding user needs, translating those needs into thoughtful product requirements, and partnering closely with design and engineering to deliver intuitive, user-friendly solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong product discovery mindset, takes a hands-on approach to product ownership, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where they can work through ambiguity, make thoughtful prioritization decisions, and help shape both the product and the processes around it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the product roadmap for prospecting, prospect management, and sales pipeline capabilities, aligning priorities with product strategy, company objectives, and user needs.

• Own the day-to-day execution of product initiatives, from early discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, launch, and ongoing enhancements.
\n
• Lead product discovery efforts through user research, stakeholder conversations, usability testing, and other methods to deeply understand user problems before determining the right solution.
\n
• Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in partnership with design and engineering teams.
\n
• Partner closely with UI/UX and design teams to create intuitive, user-friendly workflows and experiences for consultants managing prospects and prospective clients.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to refine priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and support successful product delivery.
\n
• Make thoughtful product prioritization decisions based on user needs, business impact, product strategy, and available resources.
\n
• Gather user feedback and evaluate product usage and performance to identify opportunities for continued improvement and enhancement.
\n
• Take ownership within a fast-moving, evolving product environment, working independently through ambiguity and helping establish structure where processes may still be developing.
\n
• Stay informed on evolving SaaS product practices, sales and prospecting workflows, and emerging technologies that could improve the product or product development process.
\n
• Explore and embrace AI-assisted tools and emerging approaches that can help accelerate product discovery, prototyping, and problem-solving.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

\n
• 6+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience owning user-facing web or SaaS products.
\n
• Strong experience with product discovery, user research, requirements gathering, usability testing, and translating user problems into effective product solutions.
\n
• Experience with sales pipeline, prospecting, CRM, lead management, sales enablement, or similar sales workflow products strongly preferred.
\n
• Proven ability to partner effectively with UI/UX, design, and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
\n
• Strong product judgment with the ability to prioritize competing needs, evaluate tradeoffs, and make decisions based on user and business impact.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and remain hands-on throughout discovery, prioritization, delivery, and ongoing product improvement.
\n
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical, business, and user-facing teams.
\n
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity and limited established processes.
\n
• Experience within a startup, high-growth SaaS organization, or similarly agile product environment preferred.
\n
• Insurance, InsurTech, employee benefits, or related industry experience is a plus, but not required.
\n
• Exposure to AI-assisted development, prototyping, or experimentation tools, such as Claude Code or similar technologies, is a plus.
