Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations to diagnose patients accurately and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, administer vaccinations, and prescribe appropriate medications according to best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about health promotion strategies, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions, tailored to their specific needs.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary team members, including school nurses, counselors, and physicians, to coordinate patient care and streamline referrals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records that comply with regulatory standards and evidence-based practices, ensuring that all documentation reflects quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role encompasses a diverse patient population, predominantly students in a school setting. You will address a wide range of health concerns, from acute illnesses and injuries to chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes. Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• Certification: National certification in a recognized Nurse Practitioner specialty area is essential.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are imperative.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 160,000 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
