This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will be responsible for:

• Directing physical therapy treatments to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function, ensuring that all interactions align with patient care plans based on medical directives.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and designing customized rehabilitation programs to address their unique needs.
• Overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the correct implementation of treatment protocols and guiding them through complex patient interactions.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, evaluations, and modifications for prosthetics and orthotics, ensuring patients receive appropriate support devices.
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop, review, and update care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously in clinical records, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, all prepared for submission to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Delivering education and ongoing support to patients and families regarding physical therapy practices and home care techniques.
• Actively engaging in quality improvement initiatives and contributing insights that enhance patient outcomes across the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, or mobility issues. The focus is on developing tailored rehabilitation plans that respect each patient's lifestyle and personal goals, promoting autonomy and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Current state licensure in good standing, demonstrating compliance with local professional regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical reasoning, creativity, and the ability to implement treatment plans with independence.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure effective patient and family engagement.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in home health environments or multidisciplinary settings will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits
