Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in patients' homes across Lehigh Acres, providing therapy in comfortable and familiar settings. Our facility prioritizes a supportive atmosphere, where therapists have the resources they need to provide exceptional care while maintaining flexibility in their schedules. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and track progression of therapeutic interventions, adjusting care plans based on patient feedback and treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment processes, exercises, and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on the latest trends and methodologies in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals requiring rehabilitative care, including post-operative patients, those recovering from sports injuries, seniors facing mobility challenges, and patients requiring pain management solutions. This diverse patient base allows for a variety of experiences and the opportunity to create impactful relationships while enhancing patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible Florida Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; however, a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current CPR certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred, allowing candidates to have a well-rounded understanding of diverse treatment strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance the workflow and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with a 4% employer match, three weeks of paid time off (PTO), six paid holidays per year, as well as life and disability insurance coverage.
