Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a state-of-the-art facility that prides itself on a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Our rehabilitation center is equipped with the latest technology and tools essential for effective physical therapy practices. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structure that supports both patient care and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Manage a personalized caseload that allows for thorough engagement with each patient, ensuring they receive the highest level of attention and care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing from your previous experience to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment methods to enhance patient mobility while minimizing medication reliance.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process to promote a positive recovery experience.
• Monitor patient progress, regularly assess treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain precise documentation of all patient interactions and services rendered using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about physical therapy processes and promote healthy lifestyle choices to enhance their overall wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a wide range of ages and physical abilities, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults looking to improve mobility and quality of life. You will engage with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and general mobility impairments, making your role crucial in addressing an array of health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, specifically Web PT, for accurate documentation and efficient patient management.
• Current knowledge of the latest physical therapy methodologies supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary treatment approaches and collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals.
• Previous work experience that reflects a strong ability to foster patient motivation and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
