Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic in Lehigh Acres, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a comfortable, community-focused setting. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced professional life. Our facility is equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technology, including EMR software such as Web PT, which supports accurate documentation and efficient patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient conditions, creating tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring a manageable patient load to give dedicated attention to each individual.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patients education, ensuring optimal patient engagement and recovery.
• Focus on non-surgical treatment options, using cost-effective methodologies to enhance movement and alleviate pain, thereby reducing the reliance on medications.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously in our EMR system, maintaining up-to-date records that support comprehensive care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering motivation and promoting a healthy lifestyle through education on strength, flexibility, and coordination exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be working with a diverse patient population primarily focused on orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unblemished Florida Physical Therapist license, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.
• A strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques and a proven track record of successful exercise program implementation.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying informed of the latest physical therapy research and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings particularly in sports medicine or rehabilitation.
• Prior exposure to evidence-based practice methods and familiarity with cutting-edge rehabilitation tools.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
