OnTrack Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Work Environment

As a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist at OnTrack, you will work onsite within our vibrant rehabilitation center. The facility is designed to foster teamwork and encourage collaboration among healthcare professionals. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, participating in a daily routine that combines clinical evaluations, treatment sessions, team meetings, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and established protocols.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that cater to the unique needs of orthopedic patients, ensuring that you modify treatment as necessary based on their progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated care, facilitating communication to ensure continuity of treatment and achieving better health outcomes.
• Engage in discharge planning that includes follow-up care recommendations, ensuring patients continue their recovery journey after leaving the facility.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to team discussions aimed at improving clinical practices and patient care delivery.
• Stay current with industry standards, completing necessary training and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Outpatient Unit primarily serves patients recovering from various joint and muscular injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to impact diverse populations, working with individuals ranging from athletes to seniors, ensuring tailored treatment approaches that respect their unique medical histories and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is essential.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we encourage motivated new graduates with a strong clinical background and a passion for patient care to apply. We value a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
