Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial examinations and comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic injuries or functional limitations, determining the most effective treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, including manual therapy techniques, modality applications, and functional exercises.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for your patients, ensuring a coordinated and efficient treatment process.
• Maintain exceptional standards of patient interaction, delivering compassionate care that respects diverse backgrounds and cultural sensitivities.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through consistent re-assessments, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment interventions, and outcomes according to all applicable legal and professional standards while submitting charges for services rendered.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and referral sources, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on an orthopedic patient population, assisting individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these patients regain strength, mobility, and functional independence, essential components of their overall well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited academic program.
• Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based treatment protocols for orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Background in working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
