Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to improve functional outcomes.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation tailored to each patient's needs.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient care, progress notes, and billing to comply with clinic protocols and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to devise comprehensive care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Regularly assess and refine treatment plans based on patient progress, adjusting goals and interventions as necessary to optimize results.
• Actively participate in team meetings to share knowledge, discuss patient cases, and contribute to program development efforts aimed at improving clinical practices.
• Ensure the clinic environment is safe and welcoming by overseeing the maintenance of therapy equipment and addressing any safety concerns proactively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your responsibilities will include developing treatment plans that cater to a wide range of ages and physical abilities, focusing on restoring mobility and enhancing quality of life. The clinic attracts a diverse client base, allowing you to gain experience with various conditions and patient backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment planning with a strong commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while maintaining a patient-centered focus.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, specifically WebPT EMR, is an asset.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a proven track record in managing rehabilitation programs.
• Continued education in areas such as manual therapy techniques, dry needling, or specific rehabilitation protocols can set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits
