Next Step Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Work Environment

Our clinic operates onsite in Lehigh Acres, Florida, and features a welcoming and modern design that supports patient interaction and healing. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals collaborates seamlessly to ensure comprehensive care. You will work alongside experienced physical therapists and support staff in a friendly atmosphere that values both teamwork and individual contributions. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Administer effective therapeutic interventions utilizing diverse treatment modalities that emphasize orthopedic care.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure quality, personalized attention for each individual.
• Monitor patients' progress through continuous evaluation and documentation, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive environment that promotes healing and adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and wellness strategies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their treatment processes.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate and efficient documentation of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. We focus on enhancing mobility and self-sufficiency in patients of varying ages. By employing non-surgical interventions and combined therapy techniques, we strive to reduce reliance on medications, aligning with our holistic approach to healthcare.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Florida with a clean professional record and no history of sanctions or board actions.
• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic physical therapy with a proven track record of successful treatment outcomes.
• Proficiency in the application of various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuing education to advance clinical skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for precise documentation and patient management.
• Experience with sports medicine and rehabilitation techniques.
• Ability to develop and implement successful, individualized exercise programs based on patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, depending on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.
