Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans based on specific needs and conditions.
• Implementing and modifying therapeutic interventions, ensuring adherence to physician directives and best practice protocols.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to treat a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Conducting home therapy sessions when necessary, employing skilled techniques to improve patients' conditions as outlined in their care plan.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques.
• Meeting productivity goals and participating in initiatives aimed at improving practice efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient population from children to the elderly, each requiring unique therapeutic approaches based on their conditions. Our practice focuses on building rapport with clients to ensure they feel supported throughout their recovery journey. Implementing individualized treatment plans that resonate with patients directly influences their ability to achieve functional goals and regain mobility.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this role:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer and word processing abilities to maintain documentation and treatment records.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and family-focused care is preferred. The ability to connect with patients and their families through effective communication will greatly enhance treatment success.

Compensation and Benefits
