Work Environment

Located in the heart of Lehigh Acres, our rehabilitation center features modern equipment and a variety of therapy spaces designed to facilitate effective treatment. As a member of our team, you will work directly with two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, sharing knowledge and collaborating to enhance patient recovery processes. The atmosphere is supportive and engaging, placing a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, developing individualized treatment plans that guide their recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload of one client per hour to ensure focused and effective interaction during therapy sessions.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques, from manual therapy to tailored exercise protocols, aiming to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Reduce the need for medications by recommending alternative therapies, and work collaboratively to prevent unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously while maintaining open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process, promoting a healthy lifestyle that includes strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination improvements.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary consultations to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. These include, but are not limited to, joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. As part of our team, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, facilitating their recovery journey through tailored interventions and support.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as exceptional skill in developing customized exercise programs.
• Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for seamless documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, especially elderly and post-operative individuals.
• Previous roles involving patient education and community outreach will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Rehab Innovate PT Clinic offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and background. In addition to attractive compensation, our benefits package includes:
