Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Lehigh Acres, Florida. As a team member, you will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and sports trainers, fostering an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes shared patient outcomes and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating personalized treatment plans that address individual patient needs.
• Implement and monitor specialized therapeutic interventions in accordance with evidence-based practice to enhance functional recovery.
• Offer instruction and support to patients and their caregivers regarding rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient records, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care.
• Set achievable patient goals and regularly assess progress, adjusting treatment strategies based on outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families at every interaction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and maximize positive patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team specializes in treating a diverse array of patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and pediatric conditions. Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring adherence to state regulations and professional standards.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in written and verbal communication to foster effective patient interactions.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with word processing and EHR systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and those possessing prior experience in orthopedic, pediatric, or sports medicine therapy will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
