Work Environment

Our therapists work onsite, interacting with a diverse patient population throughout the week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments that include reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and determining necessary treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Implement and oversee treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and the evolving characteristics of each patient, ensuring adherence to evidence-based methodologies.

• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, documenting any changes in patient condition that may warrant modifications to treatment plans.

• Accurately document and communicate patient progress through detailed notes that include initial evaluations, daily encounters, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.

• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to discussions regarding patient care strategies, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement among team members.

• Take active steps in discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care and understanding their post-therapy needs.

• Maintain open communication and positive relationships with co-workers, patients, and their families to promote a supportive and constructive environment throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Hype Motion Physical Therapy, our primary focus is on orthopedic populations requiring rehabilitation services for various musculoskeletal conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, arthritis, and joint pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make significant impacts on the quality of life for patients who are often in pain or experiencing limited mobility, guiding them through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a comprehensive understanding of modern therapeutic practices and patient care methodologies.

• A valid license as mandated by the State of Florida is essential for providing therapy services legally and safely.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is mandatory, ensuring readiness for any medical emergencies that may arise during patient care.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic practices, patient assessment techniques, and customized treatment planning will be highly advantageous. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also preferred to streamline documentation and improve workflow efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
