Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries or post-surgical conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to optimize recovery.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals, addressing specific impairment challenges.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress meticulously, adapting treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide comprehensive training for patients and their families on exercises, assistive devices, and overall health management strategies.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and remain current with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. You will work with a diverse demographic, including children, adults, and the elderly, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Your expertise will be instrumental in restoring mobility and function, significantly impacting their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the state of Florida.
• A valid CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions that enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
